Vermont Bookkeeper Sentenced For Embezzling $311K From Food Company

Tonnie Sullivan, 43, of South Burlington, Vermont, was sentenced to 3 to 10 years in prison, but must serve at least one year, for embezzling some $311,000 from Rhino Foods of Burlington for whom she had been employed as a bookkeeper. Over a 2 year period, between 2005 and 2007, Sullivan allegedly forged checks to pay for personal credit card bills, among other things. She has paid $95,000 in restitution to date, according to reports.
