James "Jim" Rosendall, Jr., 44, of Grand Rapids, Michigan and a former executive of Houston, Texas-based Synagro Technologies, Inc., pleaded guilty Monday to charges of bribery and conspiracy in connection with paying a Houston City Councilman to secure a vote in favor of a $1.2 billion sludge contract with the city. Rosendall was president of Synagro's Michican division and a former member of the Michigan Transportation Commission.
