Anthony L. Lopez, Jr., 34, of Sandown, New Hampshire, was sentenced to 30 months in prison, plus restitution for embezzling nearly $500,000 from his former employer, NER Construction Management, Inc. of Wilmington, Massashusetts. According to prosecutors, Lopez, who served as an accountant for the company, fraudulently obtained checks payable to seven fictitious entities controlled by Lopez and three co-defendants over the period from January 2003 to March 2005. The three other co-defendants, Russell G. Lecaroz, Jr., 36, James L. Plourde, 47, and Donald G.
