Asquith D. Reid, 65 of Brooklyn, New York and Joycinth T. Anderson, 70, also of Brooklyn and the former chief of staff and aide to Councilman Kendall Stewart (D-Brooklyn), respectively, are due to plead guilty tomorrow to embezzling some $200,000 in taxpayer funds, according to the New York Post. According to prosecutors, the stolen funds had been earmarked for three Brooklyn charitable groups - the Central Brooklyn Community Services, Community Opportunity and Resource Development and the Donna Reid Memorial Education Fund.
