George Timlin, 67, of South Bend, Indiana, was charged with embezzling at least $100,000 from the local Crime Stoppers program where he had been employed as treasurer. Authorities believe Timlin could have been stealing from the program for as long as 16 years, but he is charged for only a five year period, due to the statue of limitations.
