Authorities are seeking to apprehend Malinda Shea Lucas, 34 of Palestine, Texas, for whom a felony warrant was issued on Friday in the alleged embezzlement of $105,000 from the Palestine Herald Press where she worked. Lucas allegedly obtained payroll checks for fictitious employees of the newspaper, according to authorities. Since her photo was taken, right, Lucas has reportedly lost some 150 pounds as a result of gastric bypass surgery.
