Kathleen "Kathy" Louise Gourley, 51, of Salem, South Dakota and the former office manager and bookkeeper of the Sioux Empire Fair Association, pleaded guilty with embezzling at least $100,000 from the association over a four period. Investigators now contend that the amount Gourley stole is as much as $579,000. Gourley admitted that she kept cash receipts intended for deposit.
