Danny Rennels, 58, of Verden, Oklahoma, was charged with embezzling $457,500 from the Oklahoma Secondary School Activities Association (OSSAA), where he had served as executive director. Last March, Rennels was fired from OSSAA, which regulates high school sports in Oklahoma. He had served as executive secretary for nearly ten years.
