Stephanie Nielsen, 42, of Minden, Nebraska, was given a five year supervised release sentence for embezzling $111,592.63 from Farmers and Merchants Bank where she had been employed. Nielsen opened 3 unauthorized credit card accounts and took cash advances, according to prosecutors. She pleaded guilty last March and admitted she took the cash between October 2004 and September 10, 2007. She must spend six months home confinement with electronic monitoring and must also pay full restitution.Another light sentence, IMHO...
