Michele Davenport, aka Michele Mahoney, 45, of Reno, Nevada, was sentenced to 8 years in prison for embezzling $213,221 from Davyd Pelsue, a local veterinarian, for whom she had been employed as office manager. Davenport reportedly used some of the ill-gotten gains to pay for lavish vacations, remodeling her home, gourmet food and other luxury items.
