... David Liptak, 50, was sentenced to 10 months in prison followed by three years of supervised release Wednesday. According to court documents, Liptak embezzled about $108,000 from Westport’s Consolidated Management Group from June 2008 to March 2012. Liptak was also ordered to pay full restitution and a $3,000 fine.
In May 2014, Liptak pleaded guilty to one count of interstate transportation of money obtained by fraud. He was ordered to report to prison in February.
