Wife Of Convicted Ohio Embezzler Seeks Civil Case Dropped Against Her

Kristine Rohr, the wife of recently convicted embezzler Craig Rohr, has filed a motion for summary judgement to dismiss claims against her in a civil case filed by Rohr's former employer, Hartville Homes against her and her husband. Craig Rohr, 37, pictured right in court, was convicted of embezzling $1.8 million from the non-profit company he served as chief financial officer, between 2001 and 2007 and sentenced to 9 years in prison, plus restitution. Specifically, he was convicted on charges of aggravated theft, engaging in a pattern of corrupt activity, misuse of credit cards, and money laundering. Craig Rohr accomplished his scheme simply by writing checks to entities he controlled. He also stole more than $100,000 from St. Barbara Catholic Church for which he had served as finance chairman. Kristine Rohr has not been implicated in the case either on the civil side or the criminal matter.
