Michael D. Comer, 45, of Milton Village, Virginia, is reportedly set to plead guilty to five counts of embezzlement for having misappropriated $666,000 from the Glenmore Community Association where he had served as treasurer since 1994. Comer's fraud scheme lasted about 3 years. According to media accounts, Comer is married to former club golf pro Kandi Kessler and Glenmore was founded by his late father-in-law, Frank Kessler. His mother-in-law Peggy Kessler and brother-in-law, Jeff Gaffney, have agreed to pay the restitution by August. Comer and his wife, as well as Peggy Kessler, have put their luxury homes up for sale.
