Steven "Steve" Patrick Atwood, 41, of Adams County, Colorado, was ordered to pay restitution of $91,000 in addition to the $13,000 already paid back to the Adams 12 School District where he had been employed as athletic director. Atwood, who was originally arrested in December 2009, pleaded guilty to embezzlement charges last August. He received a 90 day work-release sentence and 7 years of probation. According to reports, Atwood stole at least $190,000 from the school district.
