John Allen, 61, a longtime Jackson, Mississippi attorney, was sentenced today to 32 months in prison for looting client accounts. Allen had previously pleaded guilty to the fraud charges and was disbarred in February 2007. According to court documents, Allen transferred client funds from a trust account to his own personal account for his own use. Allen transferred as much as $141,000 from his client's trust account.
