Stephan Zachary Cutler, 61, of Long Beach, California and formerly a practicing attorney in the State of California, was charged yesterday with stealing more than $400,000 from his clients. Cutler, who was disbarred in 2006, was charged with 14 counts of grand theft by embezzlement by the LA County District Attorney. Cutler allegedly embezzled $383,000 from one client's estate and another $60,000 from another client. The thefts occurred over a period of several years, according to the prosecutor.
