Sang Ho Shin, Dong Sik Kim and Yeon Hee Lee, all residents of South Korea and executives of SK Chemicals, were indicted Thursday on two counts of theft of trade secrets and one count of trade secrets conspiracy. According to the indictment, between late 2001 through in or about January 2008 the three conspired with Kyung J. Kim to steal trade secrets from Ohio-based Lubrizol Corporation. Kyung J. Kim was an employee of Lubrizol during this time frame and met on numerous occasions with the defendants as part of the conspiracy. In April 2008, Kyung J. Kim pleaded guilty to one count of theft of trade secrets conspiracy and two counts of theft of trade secrets.
