Mississippi Woman Convicted Of Healthcare Fraud

Pamela Hull, of Moss Point, Mississippi, and co-owner of Rehabilicare Inc., and a principal of Mississippi Care Partners, Inc., was convicted Thursday on multiple counts of healthcare fraud for falsely billing Medicare $23 million. Specifically, Hull was convicted by a jury on one count of conspiracy to commit health care fraud, three counts of health care fraud and 12 counts of making false statements relating to health care, according to prosecutors. She faces up to 95 years in prison and $4 million in fines. Hull was arrested in October 2007 along with Jim Davis Hull, Janis Kayer Dunn of Gulfport; Evelyn Marshell of Cleveland; Jacquline Crawley of North Carolina and Cheniqua G. Ellis of Franklin, Tennessee, according to reports.
