Authorities in California reported tonight that one of three fugitives in a $100 million mortgage fraud case was apprehended in Spain last October and is fighting extradition. Garret Griffith Gililland III, 27, of Chico, California, is described as the "right hand man" of Christopher Jared Warren, who is at the center of the fraud and is still at large along with another co-conspirator, Scott Edward Cavell. Authorities said that they could not release the information about Gililland's capture as the investigation was ongoing.Read the story here.
