Delaware Town Bookkeeper Sentenced For Embezzlement

Cynthia Reynolds, 48, of Elkton, Maryland, was sentenced today to five years probation for embezzling more than $128,000 from the town of Newport, Delaware for which she served as bookkeeper. The embezzlement occurred from 2004 - 2007, according to reports. Reynolds pleaded guilty to theft and "official misconduct." She was also ordered to pay restitution.

she has done this before and now she gets no prison time? what a joke!!! and what about the person that lost her job because of this ugly person? what goes around comes around!!!!

what a joke! someone can steel from a store with a gun and get prison time and she gets nothing? the only thing she didn't have is a gun!!! she should pay back all lost earnings to her boss that lost her job for trusting her! what a dirt bag!!!!
