Lynn Maruie Wolber, 38, of Venice, Florida was arrested Thursday for allegedly forging 175 checks from her employer, Preferred Custom Homes and North Port Commons in Port Charlotte, Florida, totalling $176,050. According to investigators, Wolber cashed many of the checks or used them to pay her rent and other personal expenses.
