Colorado Bank Teller Pleads Guilty In $1.3 Million Embezzlement Scheme

Pamela Jean Williams, 42, of Milner, Colorado, pleaded guilty today to felony theft and forgery charges for her role in stealing some $1.3 million from customer accounts from the Alpine Bank branch in Steamboat Springs. Williams, pictured left, and her co-conspirator, Terri Dawn Moody Fatka, 42, of Routt County, Colorado, were employed as bank tellers for Alpine Bank. According to investigators, Williams and Fatka targeted customers who they believed kept poor track of their accounts. Fatka, pictured right, has already pleaded guilty to four counts each of felony theft and forgery and was sentenced to eight years in prison in August.
