Ohio Executive Indicted For Looting Company

David N. D'Anza, 55, of Hudson, Ohio, the former President, CEO and Chairman of Solon, Ohio-based W.P. Hickman Systems Inc., was indicted today on charges of mail fraud and filing false income tax returns for allegedly looting the company out of $879,410 over a five year period. According to the indictment, D'Anza set up a phony consulting agreement and accepting fraudulent commissions, among other things. The consulting agreement was with Aurgo Consultants for $13,000 per month which D'Anza allegedly pocketed. He was charged with filing false tax returns for the years 2004, 2005, and 2006. W.P. Hickman filed for bankruptcy in October.
