Gerhardt Gollakner, 49, of Ontonagon , Michigan, a volunteer treasurer for three area United Methodist churches, was arrested Friday by the State Police on charges he embezzled more than $100,000 from the churches over a 15 year period. Details of the investigation have not been revealed, but he is scheduled for a court appearance on December 16 in County District Court.
